With Jewelry on her upper lip,
she smiles
and bites firmly on my neck,
giggles,
squeezes me
and looks into my eyes –
I’m not the only one.
A fervor hidden in those
pale
blue
spheres
that radiate as crystallite ice.
She eyes me
like a soldier,
feeling a crossfire,
gruesome and true.
She pushes herself on top,
her hair falls over her breasts,
give her my best shot.
Like war,
the sheets and curtains tear,
a lamp falls and the bulb cracks dark,
she moans and I
think a bit too much until the
thought escapes me, and she
tears apart my back like
a hundred
thousand
lashes under the Mediterranean sun.
Go up for air,
there’s
not
a
chance
that I’ll
breathe before
she sucks it in, and
breathes into me, some
convulsive
buckled
bodies
melded
into a night terror casting shadow across the hotel wall.
As night falls,
she opens the balcony door, and
she motions me out to see that
the city vibrates,
scintillating,
a high speed chase
of golden lights and embers,
its activity abound us,
caustic in time,
perfect without.
